The video below is a good friend of ours (Chay Granby) taking one to the face. He is an experienced rider and races elite gravity enduro. The feature crashed on was easy for Chay, it was just a mistake. Its not pleasant, we don't aim to shock but this kind of thing does happen and it is the kind of situation we want to prepare riders for.
What do you do?
Sometimes we fall off. Sometimes we walk away, sometimes we need a bit of help.
If we all look after each other we have a better chance of full recovery. Train so you can look after your friends, your friends train so they can look after you.
This course is designed to be PRACTICAL and simulate real situations.
On this course you will deal with:-
- Punctures (to the body)
- Broken bones
- Heart attacks
You will also learn, how to communicate effectively with emergency services.
- Day one - class room based with back ground knowledge and First aid at work curriculum.
- Day two - trail based practice with "real" situations and practice. Expect the unexpected.
At the end of the course, successful participants will leave with a 1 day ITC first aid at work qualification and for an additional £10, participants can leave with the 2 day ITC Activity First Aid.
